{Mayonnaise Jar and 2 cups of coffee}
When things in your life seem almost too much to
handle, when 24 hours
in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise
jar...and the 2 cups of
coffee..
A professor stood before his philosophy class and
had some items in
front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he
picked up a very
large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill
it with golf balls.
He asked the students if the jar was full. They
agreed that it was. The
professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured
them into the jar.
He shook the jar lightly, and the pebbles rolled
into the open areas
between the golf balls. He then asked the students
again if the jar was
full; they agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and
poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He
asked once more if the
jar was full.
The students responded with a unanimous "yes." The
professor then
produced two cups of coffee from under the table and
poured the entire
contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty
space between the
sand. The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided,
"I want you to
recognize that this jar represents your life. The
golf balls are the
important things: your God, your family, your
children, your health,
your friends, and your favourite passions--things
that if everything
else was lost and only they remained, your life
would still be full. The
pebbles are the other things that matter--like your
job, your house, and
your car.
The sand is everything else: the small stuff. "If
you put the sand into
the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for
the pebbles or the
golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all
your time and
energy on the small stuff, you will never have room
for the things that
are important to you.
Pay attention to the things that are critical to
your happiness. Play
with your children. Take time to get medical
checkups. Take your partner
out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be
time to clean the

Had lunch at c3.. hmmx.. saw yy's class thr.. wellx.. had muslim food.. and their food.. yeax.. it's marvellous.. but it's very warm thr.. grx.. they shld air-conditionised the canteen! lolx..
Practical lesson aft break was abit better.. juz a short 1 hr lesson.. doing simple connection... no kiks.. lolx.. jkjk... and tt's the end of week 1!.. woohoo!
Went to bpp wif zb and wf aft class.. wf was making an OUB account.. think i wanna make one oso.. hhaas.. went to yoshinoya and had some drinks.. chat for sometime over thr be4 gg home bahx.. and freako! tt addidas jacket i saw at royal sporting house some time back was gone!!! omg!!!!! haishx..

Hmm.. nt a single interesting class today i guess... all are rather dull and boring.. DEL was ermx.. same lorhx.. in his "amplifying" voice teaching us how to convert this to that and that to those.. yeax.. ACDA was a lecture.. perhaps it's harder to conc wif so many ppl in the lecture hall bahx.. easily distracted... hahas..
Didn't went to any canteen during the break.. =(.. went to atrium and had sandwiches.. hahas.. been a long time since i last ate bacon cheese.. yum!!! had wf laptop sent to dl visual net too.. his whole family rich sia.. toshiba, fujitsu.. all top brands... lolx..
Went to marina sq and had lunch aft the lecture... hmmx.. had the St Louis Pork Ribs from cafe cartel.. yucks lax the sauce!! simply nt my type manx!!! it's eww!!!! lol.. but their toast bread tasted good wif the butter though.. very diff from bpp de.. perhaps it's becuz they toasted it right be4 serving us.. saw chanel thr too.. haax.. look chio to mi though.. no diff from tv.. wahhahax..
Went home at around 6plus aft every1 felt so slpy aft the meal.. yawn~~~ i'm tired too... nites..

Upon reaching sch, aero went to blk 56 while i went to blk 5 for my class.. saw sheena on the wayx.. hahas.. hmmx.. reached class to see desmond and xiang yee.. hahas.. same class.. song lax..
The class was rather unique bahx.. cuz no content de.. ahax.. spent the whole lesson discussing topics over topics.. hahas.. quite interesting bahx..
Went to c2 and had lunch wif rq, wf and yj.. omg.. the western stall.. made mi wait so long lax.. and they dun even have the chicken chop sauce! grx!!! lousy service.. GEMS cfm fail la they all... grx!!!
Then when i'm gg home.. tt damn bus.. omg.. brakes and brakes.. f**k him lax.. approaching traffic lights, he purposely slowed down dun noe for f**k.. then when the traffic lights turned green, he took like a few seconds later to start moving again.. omg!!! very irritating lorh... gr!

Met dj and hui min at bp interchange... hahas.. thought 12pm bus to sch would be a less crowded one.. but hell no... it's not.. it's still as crowded lorhx.. omg.. sian diaox.. saw zb and rui qing heading to class along the way.. hahas.. and at tt time, dj and i was talking abt them to.. speaking of the devil... =s.. lol jkjk..
Saw tricia outside co-op.. but she didn't saw mi.. but her friends saw mi and recognised mi.. hahas... =).. saw jialing too.. omg... she's my pri sch friend lax.. so long nv seen her le.. still as cheerful looking.. always smiling... wahhax..
Had my first lesson - "TP".. hmmx.. and i realised something.. the lecturer was nt my previous advisor.. he's one of my previous lab lecturer.. omg!! lolx.. memory sux lax.. hahas.. Second lesson was FOOP.. the onli module which we are allowed to use lappy.. hahas.. song lax.. and 2 hrs passed very quickly...
Last lesson was ACDA at a lecture hall.. thought it was another d3 and d4 affair.. but omg!!! so many class.. and it made mi realised tt ece wasn't an "all guys" thingy.. hahas.. yeax.. tml gt entrepeurship class.. song la.. looking fwd to it manx.. =)!

Had my first lesson at blk 4.. my previous advisor was the lecturer.. hmmx... didn't teach much bahx... juz a slack lesson... next one was at blk 6.. omg.. i tell u all.. that lecturer... he didn't have a smile!!!! omg.. like we made him angry or wat siax.. and his lesson... so dull.. monotone.. die die die...
Blk 5 was my destination for my third class - 3 1hr lesson in a row.. -.-!!! this lecturer was more friendly.. at least she know how to joke along wif us and gave us early release! song la!! lolx..
2hr 30mins of break! woohoo!!! went to KAP and had lunch... been a long time since i ate Big Mac.. the taste is still the same... boring taste.. lolx... and we wasted like alot of time thr? hahax..
Went back to blk 4 and had a lesson which i had forgotten wat's tt.. no lesson again.. bored like siaox.. lol.. final lesson was at blk 6.. compro.. yawn~~ the visual net 3005 is much nicer to use lorhx.. lol... and went home wif rj again..

So.. aft getting our pay, we- wy, dj, sp and mi, went back to np to dl the visual net.. hahax.. met sq thr.. omg.. he's so early lax.. so we went to blk 5 first to install visual net.. along the way, rq came along liaox.. the queue at blk 5... omg.. damn long.. good thing we didn't go late.. hahax..
Then yy came, then yj, wf and zb.. and all joined in the queue to sent their beloved laptop for tt 2 hrs "buffet".. and yeax.. sure they ate to their fills... 4Gb larx.. lolx..
Went to the library aft tt to apply AEM.. hmmx.. completed it thru the e-paying.. hahax.. cool.. touch screen one.. hahax.. went to c2 to find sp and kel lo aft tt.. had lunch thr.. the food... haish.. no change.. the taste still taste the same.. yawn~~~.. lolx..
Collected my laptop aft eating.. time pass quickly lax.. was actuali gg to gym one lorh.. then kel lo dun wanna go.. so i went back to find the d4s and went to bpp's starbucks.. chat for some time over thr lorhx.. or rather.. gossip.. wahhhaax..

Aft meeting rj, we went to hf food centre and had some lunch? or breakfast? i dun noe.. hahas.. and kel lo came along le.. and it's still pouring outside then.. -.-! so aft eating... we took the bus which was damn crowded, to sentosa.. raining so heavily but yet so many were still heading to sentosa.. hmmx..
Went to siloso beach at first, but thought it was rather empty and full of construction works.. and we went to palawan beach instead.. yeax greatx.. "alot" of ppl indeed.. hahas.. and we found a shelter to leave our stuffs.. and we saw this two nestlings, injured probably, lying on the sands shivering....
So poor thing rite.. so we used out brochures and bulit a wall around them to prevent wind from reaching them.. Aft tt, we played some soccer... injured my leg in the first few mins.. -.-! and the game stopped liaox.. hahas...
As the rain started to drizzle, we walked towards the bridge which leads to another island.. had some sight-seeing thr though.. thought it was very breezy thr lax.. but the water thr.. haish! dirty dirty!!! lolx.. Still.. we went into the water aft tt.. and began throwing sand at each other.. -.-! so lame rite.. like primary sch kids..
Then.. aft feeling very salty.. we decided to bulid sandcastles wif the "tools" we found.. lolx.. and we demolished every single one aft we bulit.. wondered what's the pt lax.. -.-! then rj diverted our attention to the mudskippers.. and every1 started catching fishes, prawns, hermit crabs and sea snails.. -.-! and releasing them aft caught... =x..
Had a bathe aft tt and went into 7-11 and had some lunch/dinner/snacks.. i dun noe.. lolx.. just felt hungry then.. let's see.. had 6 boxes of nasi lemak and bee hoon, 3 doughnuts, 3 mashed potatoes and 2 1.5litres of ice mountain.. -.-!!! lolx.. bought a cripsy thr and went on and played..
Hmm.. found our real enjoyment.. had some fun playing cripsy.. running around like dogs fetching tt damn cripsy for their owners.. -.-!! hahas.. then we played some volleyball.. and mi and kel lo lost 3-2 to rj and yy.. hahax.. fun fun... muz go back one day again.. wif the sun shinning of cuz.. -.^..

When we reached lim chu kang.. it's so crowded.. the roads are all packed wif cars and policemen controlling the traffic.. yawnx.. traffic jams and the blazing hot sun.. oh god.. gonna be very umcomfortable manx..
No parking lots in the cemetry as expected.. so my dad parked his lancer along the main road and we got to walk in.. sianx!!! under the hot sun larx.. thought it would do good to my uneven tanned-ness aft the "shedding".. but it's damn hot.. -.-!!!
And to make things worse.. we were the first to arrive.. and got to wait under the hot sun for the rest of my relatives to arrive.. -.-!!!! sians!! so my mum got my hp and called my cousin.. and she called the wrong person.. she called cheng wei.. -.-! oh my god!! lolx..
When they finally reached, we started the prayings and offerings.. had those colourful papers to be docorated on the grass patch on the tomb.. hmmx.. love designing it.. Aft the praying, we started to unpack everything and burnt those stuffs.. hmmx.. creative u may sae.. i saw paper made slippers, clothes, ciagrettes, gold bars... hahax...
So.. when we finally finished burning everything, we offered our last prayers and home we went.. hahasx.. once a yr program bahx.. so sweating abit doesn't kill.. yeax.. so now.. soccer time.. byex..=)

Aft shopping in IMM, we went back to bpp and eat.. hmmx.. had sukura.. the swt and sour meat and fish were simply too swt and sour? juz nt my type of food at the time maybe.. hahax.. but their vege(forgot the name) wif oyster sauce is nice.. not to forget the pineapple rice also.. it's heavenly.. yum!!!!

Watched "typhoon"... hahax.. thought it would be a boring movie at first.. and when the movie started, i thought i was right.. some boring scenes.. and it's in korean.. so i had to read the subtitles to understand what they were talking.. and be4 i could finished reading.. the subtitles changed.. -.-!!! But then towards the ending.. the movie got a twist and became more and more interesting and touching.. nice movie larx.. should go watch.. all abt the north and south korea stuffs again.. hahax..
Aft the movie, we walked to lps.. -.-!! wat a long walk.. tiring larx... from dohby gaut to lps is like 2 mrt station.. -.-!! hahax.. and we had a very delicious meal thr.. had butter squids, hor fun, some mouth-watering doughsticks delicacy, stingray and satays.. hahax.. yum!!! the food are just damn good.. esp the butter squids.. had some tiger beer yeax.. hahas.. the meal is juz.. heavenly..
Went home aft eating dinner cuz i wanna watched amazing race.. hahas... nites.

Watched Ac Milan vs Lyon this morning at 2.45am right up to 4.45am.. hahas.. was abt to doze off in the middle of the match larx.. but made myself finish watching the match.. and thanks god i stay awoke.. if not i would had missed 2 goals.. hahas..
Chose my IS module lex.. and it's entrepreneurship.. hahas.. was thinking abt the time slot more lorhx.. cuz yj and rq got into to 1-5pm slot.. and zb wanted to 8-12pm slot.. was rather confused which one to choose yeax.. but chose the 1-5pm slot aft deciding.. and it's till now i realised wy, dj and ashton got into the 8-12 slot.. omfg... should have chosen the morning slot as wellx.. =(..

Went to outram wif dj, zm, sp and wy early today to do some stuffs yeax.. Aft completung wat we were supposed to do.. we headed to PS where we had our lunch and my hand twisted by zm.. =S.. Had lunch at mosburger.. hmmx.. the food was nt to my liking i guess.. the rice burger was abit dry.. and the fries.. nvm... i nv liked mosburger fries anywayx..
Aft having tt "not so tasty" meal.. headed back to bb to meet jit, yy, kel lo and rj.. lonely trip.. felt sleepy along the wayx.. yea sleepy... and i'm here waiting time to reach 2.45am so i could watch soccer.. greatx.. -.-! Saw kel lo and jit sitting at the steps near the mrt station when i reached.. was wondering.. why are the others late when i'm supposed to be late.. =S.. hahas.. but nvm.. tt's nt the main pt anywayx..
Went to CSC wif them first.. had taiwan sausage along the wayx.. yucks.. nt good at all.. tasteless.. why am i getting food tt are nt as tasty as i had expected like twice? in a day? Arcade was the first place we went when we reached CSC.. Had a bike race wif kel lo and i lost i think.. forgotten lex.. Our purpose thr was to play bowling anywayx.. bleahx..
Had 5 rds of bowling when rj and yy came.. and my fingers hurted.. had a total socre of like 569, averaging of abt 114 per game? thr's this malay guy beside mi though.. he had this "ball throwing" technique which got him very high scores larx.. think he need lotsa strength and stuffs bahx... i'm stunned.. ^~^..
Returned to bb aft bowling for soccer... As thr are onli 5 of us, had no choice but to play 3v2 among ourselves.. fun game though.. rj was impressive.. he had so much skills up his sleeves manx... nice dribbling, wonderful ball shielding.. hahas.. incredible.. had fun pairing up wif jit though.. thought i had better flow in the game and could have more fanciful footworks.. won the first game wif him but lost the second.. too tired i guess..
Hmmx... yesh.. two sports in a day.. tired.. and rather.. feeling lethagic and moodless over some stuffs.. yeax.. ***dots dots dots***

Haha.. earlier today.. was watching "Man vs Beast 2"... hhaax.. wat an interesting show lar! onli managed to catch the 3-5 rds of the matches larx.. final score is Man 2 Beast 3.. hahax.. 3rd match was to see which side could hold on to a bar without letting their feet touch the ground.. At the man side was aerobics champion and on the beast side was an orang utan.. hahax.. and the orang utan lost when it try to rest itself at the side of the pole.. hahax..
4th match was abit stupid larx.. it tree climbing.. On the man side, we had a pro tree-climber who had been climbing trees since he was young.. On the beast side, we had a monkey i guess.. hahax.. a black monkey.. the man won the first round.. damn.. he was quick.. 40 feet and he completed it wif 19 secs.. hahax.. but he challenged the monkey tt he could climbed up and down twice while the monkey can onli do it once.. and obviously.. he lost.. -.-! greatx.. hahax..
5th match was the one i thought it's very very interesting.. it's a 330 yard relay run.. 4 man against a camel.. hahax.. the camel was strolling at the start of the race and the man got a better of it.. then midway thru the race.. the camel caught up speed and dashed towards the finish line.. hahax.. and the beast won.. hahax.. wat a nice show larx..
Haha.. gonna watch soccer match le.. see yax..

Had nth to do for the whole day manx.. come on.. it's april 1st.. hahax. didn't realised tt until i saw one of my friends nick--April fool!!!.. hahax.. no jokes or prank this yr huhx? so sad larx.. =(
